When life felt dim and hopeless, a tiny smile from an unexpected angel brought the light back into my days with Promise
Lights of life faded, no hope in sight,
Stressed moments and painful days,
Good old days may soon be back.
That every sunrise gave me a promise,
That Promise turned fading light to a smile,
Glimpses of hope for the rest of the day,
By evening, as the sun goes hiding.
It switched off my life and hope again.
Unknown to me, as the sun smiled,
A tiny face too smiled in my life too.
Her smile remained, even when the sun left,
Her smile turned on the light of my life.
Her colourful dresses, for me, were white,
As she reminded me of.an Angel,
Light from her eyes filled my empty pot of hope,
And my life felt like moving like others.
She, indeed, spread joy to all,
For she belonged to "City of Joy",
Her promise with an unknown me,
Made my life meaningful ever after.
