When It Rains: A Poetic Reflection on Nature’s Blessing

It pours on earth as nature’s blessing,
When it pours, it feels like a gift from heaven.
It sounds poetic to the ears when it rains between,
Sometimes it feels inside when it rains outside.

While it rains, some people turn creative,
Some hearts hear it as music of love.
Some places get rain after months of prayer,
The absence of rain ceases the existence of the world.

The first rain brings a scent to the ground,
At times, it’s a boon when it’s hot outside,
Other times it feels like a bane when it pours for days,
Yet walking in the rain has always been my favorite.

Rain becomes a rare asset that people long for,
Bringing drinking water to their homes.
Without rain, our farming halts,
Depriving humankind of its food.

Rain creates havoc when it floods,
Destructive at times, bringing mountains to their feet.
Rivers look frightening in their fury,
Its power can even produce tsunamis in the sea.

Rain can also change the mood of people,
Sometimes romantic when it drizzles outside.
As songs in the rain are a favorite in movies,
Making rain a part of the cinematic experience.

People love rain unconditionally,
Excited when it rains moderately.
